And yet another film comes to you tonight courtesy of the Feminist Film Society. Iron Jawed Angels documents the work of a group of fiery young suffragettes led by Alice Paul and Lucy Burns from 1912 to 1920 to wheedle the United States into adapting a Constitutional amendment guaranteeing women the right to vote -- incurring the wrath of President Woodrow Wilson and anger other suffragette leaders along the way.  Donation accepted at the door; no one is turned away. The screening starts at 7:00 with discussion to follow. It all goes down at In Other Words Bookstore at 8 NE Killingsworth in Portland!
