This day, in the spirit of the Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr., we carry out community service.  PSU and Concordia University's Day On not Day off rally and service with Hands On Greater Portland has happily reached capacity, but you can still call your favourite organisation and offer to help.  You can also prepare a vegan meal or help serve the communal meal with Food Not Bombs at 5.30pm at Col Summer's Park (SE 17th and Taylor). For the latest updates on the winter hotline for assistance in shelter, food and clothing dial 211.  Most agencies are still looking for volunteers.
