The effects of global climate change are already being felt in places close to the polar regions like Australia and Alaska.

Larry Merculieff is an Alaska native leader who is currently touring around the US to raise awareness about the necessity of taking action now to combat climate change.  He spoke with KBOO's Jenka Soderberg:
