Did you know that it can cost twenty dollars or more to receive a collect call from a loved one in prison? On Monday December 19th, from 7 - 8 pm, KBOO will take part in a national broadcast of 'Calls from Home' - messages from family and friends to their loved ones who are in prison over the holidays. And from 6:30 to 7, we'll have a call-in forum on the right of prisoners to communicate with their families.
