COP-17 & International Climate Change Action

program date:
Mon, 12/05/2011

Bill Resnick talks with Chris Williams, Physics/Chemistry professor at Pace University and author of "Ecology and Socialism", about the COP-17 international climate change conferences. The 17 stands for the number of years the conference has occured. They talk about reports of record temperatures in 2010 and other extreme weather events, as well as how even climate skeptics funded by the Koch Bros. are saying global warming is a reality. They talk about some of the terrible limits we're running up against, but also speak optimistically about the political awakening we've seen this year around the world.
