the people of world are speaking right now, in terms of their dis-satisfaction with their governments' actions of injustice; regarding spending cuts to provisions, police terrorism, and ever-increasing militarism.  now is the time we are faced with the all-important question:  what do we stand for?  if we claim it is justice, in what ways are we contributing to this?  how much are we willing to risk the (physical and non-physical) characteristics of comfort in order to get there?

is comfort an illusion?

on 'guess who's coming to radio??!!' we will be speaking with bay area active-ist j.r. valrey on some of these issues.  valrey is the 'people's minister of information associate editor' at the san francisco bay view publication; he is also known for being the force behind 'block report radio' (and inspiration to davey d and 'hard knock radio').  

valrey will be in the northwest this week-end (with hajj malcolm shabazz, grandson of el hajj malik el-shabazz) following the viewing of a documentary entitled 'operation small axe', to discuss these issues of injustice.
