The Wall - In Depth

 Hello to one and all.........

As I write this missive Roger Waters and crew are out on the road presenting  "The Wall" to adoring fans worldwide. If you, like me, are not one of the lucky ones to be able to witness this spectacle firsthand, then join me on Tuesday, October 12 at 3 am, as The Vinyl Pajama Party presents

THE WALL - disc 1.

I'll have demos and interviews to help fill in the empty spaces...

Vinyl Pajama Party: Mark Bingham-Andrei Codrescu N'Awlins Xmas

I like to refer to this venture as a place for canoe drifters on the great river of song to bivouac while
editors Jack & Jon daily roll out ALL THE MUSES FIT TO PRINT in the form of new articles &
indie reviews from the far-flung nooks & crannies of regional indie music for free. No advertising.
Good luck with your other creative venture too, mothering!
By the bye, 4:30 AM and on's (Portland's community radio station that broadcasts state-wide) and the Vinyl Pajama Party just played the surprising recording that your collaborator-producer Mark Bingham recorded with Andrei Codrescu at Piety Street Recording in New Orleans
same Piety Street Studios Gill Landry & Shannon McNally cut last year's more interesting records at!
I had to call the free-form artist hosting, Brian Combs and congratulate and thank him 4 such imaginative broadcasting and providing some background on his serendipitous find of such hip arcana...
Keep on free-forming in vinyl Doc Dentons, BC!
Warmly and respectfully yours,
Mitch Ritter

PS - If you're a Thomas Pynchon enthusiast with a penchant for his comeback comedy two summers ago
titled INHERENT VICE on the 1960's radical Surf Rock cult of So Cal beach towns (getting much more
darkly weird in the 1970's as Doc Sportello the grunged ex-hippie surf bum recounts) these new records
