KBOO COMMUNITY CALENDAR TUESDAY May 18th 2010

This is Paula with the KBOO Community Calendar for Tuesday, May 18th 2010.

Tonight at 7 pm is True Crimes: Jack the Ripper with Jeff Davis as part of the Spoken Word Series at Walters Cultural Arts Center 527 E Main Street Hillsboro, OR 97124.<?xml:namespace prefix = o />

The mystery of Jack the Ripper has captivated the imaginations of millions of people since it first began.  Historian Jeff Davis has traveled to London's East End with other historians to gather information on what we do know about Jack the Ripper.

For this chilling edition of Spoken Word, a series held every 3rd Tuesday of the month, Jeff Davis will present a graphic photo and art record from the streets of Whitechapel, then and now, as well as seldom seen crime photos.

This presentation is graphic, and not for the squeamish or faint of heart!
