This Portland Plan pilot study explores opportunities to create a more healthy, sustainable, and viable “20-minute neighborhood” along SE 122nd Avenue.

The project, currently underway, is forming a Community Working Group (CWG) composed of representatives of affected neighborhood and business associations, representatives of the diverse interests in the community, and other at-large members. The CWG is expected to meet up to once a month to share information, act as liaisons to other community interests, and serve as a sounding board for project staff as the study proceeds.

Recruitment for the CWG began in July 2009 - the deadline for applications has been extended to October 15, 2009. The application is available on the portlandonline DOT com web site.
