3. Ivan na Donka/Hristianova kopanitsa
A Bulgarian dance song in 11/16 (2+2+3+2+2) from Western Thrace. Ivan said to Donka, “Let’s go into the vineyard to gather grapes and to check each other out. If there are no sanctions against it, we’ll get engaged and have a huge wedding. Bagpipes and flutes will play, you’ll dance in your yellow slippers and make noise with your heavy
necklace.” The vocal is followed by an instrumental kopanitsa in the Bulgarian wedding music style derived from a recording by Ivo Papasov.

4. Plevensko dajčovo horo
This dance tune in 9/8 (2+2+2+3) is best known from the virtuosic 1940s Bulgarian recording by multi-instrumentalist Tsvjatko Blagoev.  The version presented here is performed at a somewhat less super-human
