Today is election day for Multnomah County voters. If you haven’t handed in your ballot, you have until eight p-m to drop it off at the county elections office or one of the drop-off sites at libraries around town.
You can no longer mail your ballot – if you do, it will not be counted.
The Multnomah County Elections division will begin releasing unofficial results at 8 pm tonight at its office at 1040 Southeast Morrison Street and on the website mult co dot us.
Voters who have returned their ballots can check their ballot status at www.oregonvotes.org.
The main issues on the special election ballot are the question of whether Portland should fluoridate its water, a renewal of the children’s levy, and selection of School board members.
