Lebanese Film-Maker Niam Itani Presents her New Project, Twice Upon a Time
Lebanese film-maker Niam Itani is working on a new documentary project called Twice Upon A Time, which tells her family's story seeking refuge in Ghazzeh, Lebanon 24 years ago in parallel with the story of Khalil and his family who left Syria in 2012 and also sought refuge in Ghazzeh.

Niam will speak about this project, Twice Upon A Time and her collaboration with 12 year old Khalil. She will also discuss the long lasting effects of war on children.

Niam Itani is a talented Lebanese filmmaker who, despite her young age, already has an impressive list of film credits under her belt. Her short film Super.Full has screened at festivals around the world – including the prestigious Venice Film Festival and Doha Tribeca Film Festival.
