Ailsa Weisnewski performs

Prison Pipeline
program date:
Mon, 10/04/2010

It’s Membership Drive night, so we wanted to do something special—and we did! Our guest Ailsa Weisnewski, sang while she strummed her guitar. We heard two original songs (one of them based on a poem Ruth Kovacs shared with Ailsa), a Bob Dylan song (when sung by Ailsa didn’t sound anything like Bob Dylan), and “His Eye Is On The Sparrow” closed our show.

Thanks to those who called in and pledged!

Fair trade advocates say the Korea Free Trade Agreement is just more of the Bush-Clinton trade policy that has resulted in local job loss, erosion of environmental safeguards and the transfer of more wealth and power to Wall Street.
