After a long holiday weekend, I was thinking of music of the celebratory variety.  Kicked off this morning's program with one last song to wrap up the Fourth of July:  Firecracker by the Wailin' Jennys.  Ramblin' Jack Elliott turns 78 in a couple of weeks, so played a tune of his.  We're coming up on the 40th anniversary of Woodstock so I threw in Richie Havens doing that oh-so-pretty Dylan tune, Just Like a Woman.  Finally, I just HAD to insert a set of, um, chicken-related songs in celebration of today's holiday:  National Fried Chicken Day!  That set even included "You Flew the Coop!"

Enjoy!
