Ani and Lyn speak with mythologist and storyteller Micheal Meade
We are living in a world desperately out of balance:  extreme climate uphealval;  corporations who are killing the planet that feeds them for next-quarters profit; and humans who sacrifice their relationship to the natural world and each other, in constant search for new shiny techology.  What can help return us to right relationship with the reast of the planet?  How do we change the story that says human beings "conquer" nature?

Humans are made up of stories as much as we are made of  atoms--  and we are very attached to those stories. How do we find more compelling stories to bring us back to having a sane realtionship to the natural world   ... Micheal Meade says one tool we have is the Power of Imagination.

He finds heart in the intersectionality of three movements, The Social Justice Movement, The Climate Activist Movement and The Mythology Movement. Not much is said about the Mythology Movement, that's what we'll be adressing this morning. Please join us for our Solcetice treat for you an hour with Micheal Meade ... if you have questions for Micheal call in at 593-231-8187.
