Tribute to Pathways co-host Tom Park

Pathways co-host Tom Park has retired from hosting and producing Pathways after 400 shows over a period of more than thirty years. Of the many people he interviewed Tom says his favorites include a very early interview with Dr. Elizabeth Kubler-Ross, three interviews with Ram Dass, and nine interviews with Dr. Deepak Chopra. He also appreciates the relationships he developed with local organizations and businesses like New Renaissance Bookshop, New Connexion Journal, the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, Common Ground Wellness Center, and many more.

Tom Park founded the Pathways program in the early 1980's. He was joined by co-host Paul O'Brien a few years later. Originally the program was broadcast on a week night. For the past decade it has aired at 8:30 on Sunday mornings.

For the last twenty-five years Tom has maintained his own company, Park Productions, producing live events throughout the United States. He says he is ready for a new phase of life, which will allow him to spend more time with his grandchild.

Don't be surprised if you still hear Tom on the air in the next few months. Paul O'Brien may air some repeat programs of Tom's interviews, as he adapts to hosting the show every week.

Best of luck to Tom in his new phase of life!
