A discussion of the benefits of communication in relationships and productivity.

Our guest will be Robert Jensen, professor in the School of Journalism at the University of Texas at Austin.  We'll be discussing critical thinking and meaningfully engaging each other in our conversations, going beyond thinking in terms of sound bites and actually connecting with one another. Jensen’s new book, "Arguing for Our Lives," will be available as a thank you gift during our show for those who contribute to the membership drive. The book draws on Jensen’s extensive classroom experience and community organizing to share strategies on how to challenge "conventional wisdom" in order to provide a framework for channeling our anxieties and frustrations into fruitful analysis and action.
