Interview with Audubon Society regarding West Hayden Island Development

West Hayden Island, 800 acres of undeveloped land that currently serves priamarily used as natural habitat. Now the City of Portland is proposing to annex the property and develop 300 acres to expand the Port of Portland. Environmentalists like Bob Sallinger, of the Audubon Society of Portland have major problems with the proposal.

 There will be a public hearing on this issue Thursday, July 29th 6 pm at Portland City Hall.

In this interview with Bob Sallinger Jacob Anderson-Minshall discusses the project in detail and learns what the costs will be and how claims of job growth are exagerated.
