FAIR TRADE PROTEST

Recently, President Obama announced plans to introduce the Bush-negotiated Korea Free Trade Agreement in congress—something Oregon Congressman Kurt Schrader has been urging him to do.

Vice President Joe Biden was in Portland today for a fundraising reception honoring Conressman Schrader.

          But many people, including labor leaders and fair trade advocates, protested at the event to show they do not agree with congressman Schrader or the Obama administration’s backing of the Korea Free Trade Agreement.
