Tomorrow morning at 10.30 the public is invited to attend Poetry in Motion and meet the poets behind one of Trimet's most visual public transit art.  TriMet receives 324,080 riders per day. With 200 cards being placed on 800 buses and trains, you can imagine the exposure to good poetry the public will have.  Join us when we unveil poems by two Portland Public high school students from our Writers in the Schools program, three poems by Oregon Book Awards finalists and three other poems chosen by public vote.
Judith Barrington and Paulann Petersen will open the event with a reading. High school students, Talisha Jackson and Billy Pham will also read their poems in celebration of the event.

The event begins at 10.30am at the Portland Center for the Performing Arts Rotunda at 1111 SW Broadway.
