This evening at 6:30, the Albina Ministerial Alliance Ad Hoc Coalition for Community Justice will host a Rally for Justice and a conversation about how to stop Police Violence. This will take place at Emmanuel Temple, which is located at 1033 N Sumner in Portland.

The Portland City Council wants to hear from you at an interactive Community Budget Forum tomorrow afternoon! This is your opportunity to share your priorities, your questions, and your concerns with the City Council BEFORE they launch their budget deliberations. The forum runs from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at IRCO Community Space, located at 10301 NE Glisan St. (Bus lines 19, 25, 27).

There will be a group traveling together to this event by bicycle from downtown. They'll meet at 11 am at  Portland Bicycle Tours at  345 NW Everett St.

Later tomorrow afternoon, you're invited to a Community Play Reading with the Gender and Mental Health Theater Project. This in-progress project is being developed from interviews around Portland about experiences of gender, gender variance, and mental health. Tomorrow's reading is an invitation for criticism, opinions, and suggestions before the performance is finalized. It will run from 3 to 5 pm at In Other Words Women's Books and Resources, located at 8 NE Killingsworth Street.
