The Portland Women's Crisis Line and PSU Allies Against Rape Culture will be holding an interactive workshop on Rape Culture, TONIGHT, from 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm, at the Green House Collective, located at 4407 SE Tibbetts Street in Portland.  They'll identify rape culture on local and nationwide levels, explore how this culture manifests in the media and images surrounding us, how all oppression is part of rape culture, the work folks are doing and can do to change things, and much more!  For more information, email aarc@pdx.edu.

Bark, Columbia Riverkeeper, and Sierra Club are sponsoring a Film Showing and Forum TONIGHT on proposed Liquefied Natural Gas and Pipeline development in Oregon. These films offer the opportunity to see the lands and people directly impacted by these fossil fuel proposals. The event will be held tonight at 7:00 pm, at Portland State University, located at 1825 SW Broadway in Portland, Smith Memorial Student Union, Rm. 327.  There will be opportunity for Q&A, and will feature guest speaker Bill Bradbury, former Oregon Secretary of State.  More information at 971-533-2390.

There will be a FREE Strengthening Families Program for Parents and Youth ages 10-14.  Starting Thursday, April 16th at the Clark K-8@Binnsmead School in Portland.   This 7-week program, held in the evening hours, consists of a parent, youth, and family skills-building curriculum.  Participation in all classes is required, and childcare will be provided.  To register for this FREE course, call (503) 442-9962.
