The Portland Polyamory Circle meets the third Monday of every month to discuss such topics as extended families, open relationships, and intentional community in a welcoming, confidential setting. They will meet this evening at 7 PM in Portland; everyone is welcome. Location information is available by phone at 503-285-4848.

Tomorrow morning, Tuesday the 16th, the City of Portland invites bicycle commuters to enjoy free coffee and pastries at the corner of SE 9th Avenue and Clay. Stop by from 7 to 9 am, meet representatives of the Bureau of Environmental Services, and check out some newly planted trees.

Save the date for a fun cultural event this Sunday, June 21st.
The Iraqi Food Festival Block Party will take place from noon to 4 or 5 PM on SE 79th Avenue between Ash and Pine streets. You are

invited to meet recent Iraqi refugees and enjoy great foods, music, handcrafts, non-alcoholic drinks, Iraqi clothing, and more!

The Beaverton School District will be expanding its summer food summer program this year and offering meals at 15 school facilities and several mobile sites throughout Washington County. Games, nutrition education, and other activities will be offered along with meal services and are open to all children under 18 in these communities. Registration is not required. Site and schedule information can be found at the Beaverton City Library or by contacting the school district.
