Join the University of Orygun's Portland Program and a panel of Portland’s creative professionals for the second talk in a lecture series entitled: Building a Collaborative City. Come to the White Stag Block at 70 NW Couch St., tonight, July 22 at 6 p.m. to hear from some of Portland's design and communication leaders, and get connected in our creative community.  All are welcome with no cover.  Complimentary beer and refreshments will be served.

Portland Parks and Recreation continues their Summer Concerts in the Park all across the city this month and next.  See the KBOO Web Site for a link to the 2009 Concert Schedule.  Tonight's concert is at Willamette Park at, 6:30 PM (SW Macadam & Nebraska, south picnic area).  Come and watch Rhythm Culture play some red-hot Jazz-Infused Reggae.  Or, if you like your Jazz more on the Funky side, then visit Dawson Park at 6:30 PM for Mike Phillips and his bandDawson Park is at N. Stanton & Williams.
