Coming up on Tuesday, August 11th at 6 pm is Portland Taiko & Mizu Desierto Butoh Theatre, at the Washington Park Ampitheatre in Portland. Portland Taiko’s ancestral Japanese drumming will be coupled with the Mizu Desierto company’s contemporary vision of Japanese butoh dancing.

Also coming up next Tuesday, August 11th at 7 pm is the Open Poetry Reading in the Gallery at Walters Cultural Arts Center 527 E Main Street Hillsboro, OR 97124.
Poets and lovers of poetry alike will enjoy these evenings of readings in the gallery, every second Tuesday of the month. Readers and listeners are welcome to enjoy works by established or yet to be discovered talent. A sign-up sheet is available, so please arrive early.
