“First Families Voices” will launch the Clark County Historical Museum’s 2010 First Thursday series:  African American families who settled in Vancouver, Washington during World War II will tell their life stories in the voices of today’s young people.  The event will be held TONIGHT, 7:00 p.m. at the Clark County Historical Museum, located at 1511 Main Street in Vancouver, Washington.   Free and open to the public.  More information at 360-993-5679  cchmuseum.org

It's Not Me It's You: Stories from the Dark Side of Dating.  We’ve all had them: dates that go terribly awry. An evening of personal stories told live onstage, unscripted, just telling you the painful truth. You’ll leave either feeling grateful for your current relationship or with the realization that being single isn’t so bad after all.   This event will be held TONIGHT at the Bagdad Theater, located at 3702 SE Hawthorne Boulevard in Portland.  Doors open at 6pm, Show at 7pm.   A fundraiser for Planned Parenthood Advocates of Oregon, this is a ticketed event.  Tickets are available Bagdad or Crystal Ballroom box offices.
