Science has come a long way from the days when it was thought that only humans had emotions, could think, or were conscious. Now, the more we look, the more we find animals that communicate, cooperate, and think. Even chickens have a vocabulary. In many cases, animal senses and sometimes their memory skills exceed our own. Northwest VEG will hold their Vancouver potluck TONIGHT, starting at 6:30pm, at the Clark Public Utilities Service Center, located at 1200 Fort Vancouver Way, in Vancouver, WA. Immediately following the potluck, Northwest VEG President will present a talk on "Animal Consciousness - What Do We Know Now". This is a free event. You can come for just the potluck, for the talk, or both. For full event details, including potluck guidelines, visit the web at www.nwveg.org
