Radical Women presents:  Native American Heritage Month: Lakota Woman, Siege at Wounded Knee  A depiction of Mary Crow Dog’s radicalization during the 1973 uprising of her tribe on a South Dakota reservation. This film will be shown TONIGHT, 6:30pm at the Bread & Roses Center, located at 819 N. Killingsworth St., Portland (on Tri-Met lines #4 and #72). Join Columbia River Fellowship for Peace and concerned citizens in Hood River Oregon Friday, Nov 13th for an evening vigil in honor of Armistice Day--honoring Veterans by ending war, now and forever.  The Vigil begins at 5pm at Overlook Park at 2nd & State Street in downtown Hood River.  At St. Mark’s Episcopal Church beginning at 6:30 pm, there will be a presentation by No Star Wars expert, Bruce Gagnon of Global Network, a  potluck, and  a showing of Robert Greenwald’s RETHINK AFGHANISTAN  The movie will be shown at 8pm.  St. Mark’s Episcopal Church is located at 11th & Eugene in Hood River. Free Women's Health exams are available in December:  The OHSU Center for Women’s Health, through generous community donations, is able to offer free women’s health exams (Pap test, pelvic exam and clinical breast exam).  Any woman experiencing barriers to receiving these preventive screenings is welcome to call 503-346-1212.  There are still appointments available in December at a variety of times and dates.  www.ohsuwomenshealth.com
