At 7:30 Melodie Silverwolf hosts Positively Revolting Talk Radio. The topic is body image. Her guest is Victoria Zackheim, author of For Keeps: Women Tell the Truth About Their Bodies, Growing Older and Acceptance.

At 9 APA Compass features a special interviews with comedienne Margaret Cho and the band Dengue (Den-gay) Fever.  And as always, another edition of the Angry APA Minute.

At 10 Edison Carder interviews David Gerwitz, author of Where Have All the Emails Gone about the root causes of the White House email problems and later Lisa Loving interviews the editor of In These Times Magazine about Whether We Can Actually Have Free and Fair Elections.

At 11 it’s Democracy Now - A special unedited Membership Drive Edition

At 12:30 we’ll hear Naomi Klein’s Portland speech on The Shock Doctrine, and later Antonia Juhasz and Rev Lennox Yearwood speak on Direct Action for Social Change,

And we’ll hear a powerful speech by the late Vernon Bellecourt on “Thanksgiving, Redskins and American Genocide.”

Then it’s on to the subject of political prisoners in the U.S. – with a spotlight on the Angola 3, followed by analysis of the latest ruling in the case of Mumia Abu-Jamal. We’ll also hear from the victim of an embassy bombing in Tanzania, on why she prefers civilian trials to the Guantanamo Tribunals for the men charged with murdering her husband.

We’ll hear about local empowerment for change with Kayse Jama of the Center for Intercultural Organizing, and the politics of Food with the owners of Proper Eats Café.

Then it’s the KBOO evening News at 5, Counterspin at 5:30 and Bread and Roses at 6.

And from 7 to 9 KBOO confronts the pressing issue of the Climate Crisis, with a focus on How to Change the Systems that are driving the planet to extinction.
