Mike Snedeker and Jan Haaken discuss the sentecing of Jessica Smith in Clatsop County Oregon on August 25th, and the history of public and legal responses to women who murder their children. Smith was sentenced to life in prison for drugging and killing her two-year old daughter and attempting to kill her thirteen year old daughter in a Cannon Beach hotel room in 2014.
