This is the fifth update from the Peltier Justice Ride 2016
Monday July 18 the Peltier Justice Ride left Colorado after a full day of rest and landed in a small town in Kansas where finding a grocery store open at 8:00PM was a real struggle. The riders set up camp and were hoping for hot dogs to accompany the storytelling event of the evening.
Today, the caravan keeps heading east on high way 70 though Kansas and tonight they will rest in Higginsville Missouri before they continue their journey through Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia to Washington DC. to raise awareness about Leonard Peltier and ask for his clemency. They will arrive in DC. on Saturday.
