  • Denise Morris reads from responses to Britain’s vote to leave the EU.
  • Laurie Mercier speaks to Michael Helquist about the upcoming Jun 29 Birth Control Brigade in downtown Portland. Michael Helquist is the author of MARIE EQUI Radical Politics & Outlaw Passions. The event will commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the arrests of nurse Margaret Sanger and doctor Marie Equi for distributing information about birth control in Portland. (Ms) Charley Downing of Planned Parenthood will join in to talk about the relevance of the event to today's struggle for women’s access to contraception. 
  • Jan Haaken and Mike Snedeker review the TV series The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story. We will be talking about the politics of what was described as the Trial of the Century, and how the series works with the politics of race in this case.
