A group of six women from Bend were arrested last night for staging a sit-in at Congressman Greg Walden’s office.
The women brought testimony from the Town Hall held at the Redmond Senior Center about the Cost of War.
More than 175 people from 20-counties of the second congressional district packed the hall. Walden was asked to attend to hear the will of his constituents. The congressman refused.
Fran Davis, one of six women arrested for staging a sit-in at Congressman Greg Walden’s office in Bend spoke to KBOO News just before she was arrested.
