The first installment of "The Occupant"

Occupy Portland Radio is now, The Occupant!

This is, after all, our home, and it is crucial, necessary, critical, fundamental that we learn how to work together to share this home and to move things forward in a progressive way that brings all of us into the picture and empowers us to work together on our shared situations.

Tonight's show: host Jimmy Tardy speaks with Rain Crowe, a long-time group facilitator, about the steps we can take to be better allies to those around us, and how we can develop a better tool kit to work together.

Rain will be hosting a day-long seminar, as part of the 2014 Village Building Convergence. The event will be held at Tryon Life Community Farm. More info at: http://callingourselveshome.weebly.com/feeling-for-the-path-of-right-relationship

We have music from friend of the show Lullaby, a song called, "A Better Place to Live"

We also hear from the Youth Summit on Transit Justice, For Youth By Youth, that was held at David Douglas High School, May 17, 2014
