Portland Youth Summit 2012--'The Miseducation of Our Youth' The murder of Portland teen Davonte Lightfoot in 2007 pushed organizer Imani Muhammad to create an annual series of events unlike any other – by, for and about Black youth in the Portland area. This year’s Portland Youth Summit theme is: The Mis-education of Our Youth. Join host Lisa Loving and guests Imani Muhammad, recording artist and educator Mic Crenshaw and activist Jasiri X Wednesday morning at 8.
