Mouin Rabbani has published and commented widely on Palestinian affairs and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He was a Senior Analyst of the Middle East with the International Crisis Group and previously worked as Palestine Director of the Palestinian American Research Centre.
Also on the program this week, an exclusive interview with Columbia University's Edward Said Professor of Modern Arab Studies, Rashid Khalidi, talking about the diplomatic offensive this week, by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, for full recognition and membership at the UN for a sovereign Palestinian State. Professor Khalidi also talks about the prospects for genuine democratic and social reforms in the broader Middle East.
