Dialogues on Race...the other topic on More Talk Radio- 8-9-2010

In addition to Cecil's examination of the press's access to military information and activities, I offered a review of how this country, and possibly the White House, is missing the opportunity for a substantive discussion on racial issues.

Syndicated columnist Doyle McManus (Los Angeles Times) wants President Barack Obama to lead by example...to address teachable moments by framing and leading the discussion...from the White House. However, despite his activist roots, President Obama says this is not the role for the Presidency-and not for our national resources. He believes there are other entities that can embrace the challenge.

What do you think? Read the column, call in and share on the upcoming More Talk Radio.
