Splits in the GOP, Left and the Law, critique of business-unionism, movie-review: Tomboy

Joe Clement hosts the next Old Mole and we hear:

  1. Bill Resnick interviews Paul Street, an independent historian, author of many books and furious blogger on the splts in Republican Party and the infernal dilemmas of Mitt Romney.
  2. Joe talks with labor journalist, Josh Eidelson, about the pitfalls of running a union like a business and the need to put the movement back in the labor movement.
  3. Jan Haaken and Mike Snedecker talk about the recently passed Multnomah County resolution that limits reach of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in working with the police and the jails, and the hidden Gulag in the US as tens of thousands of undocumented workers are incarcerated without any due process though ICE.
  4. Denise Morris and Iven Hale review the film, Tomboy.
