Portland Police say they do not racially profile

Portland Mayor Sam Adams and members of the Portland Police Gang Enforcement Team held a press conference yesterday on recent shootings in the area that they say are gang-related.
Four people have been shot in the last week, two of them killed, in what police claim is gang-related violence.
During the conference, Lieutenant Kevin Mo-Dee-Ka with the Gang Enforcement Team refuted claims that his unit engages in racial profiling.
