What does spirituality mean? What does feminism mean? How can one safely & positively journey to explore both? Is there room for both in the Black community?

From her press release:

Roslyn Farrington’s new book, *Anna Holy Woman: Saying Yes to Divine Love,* is a memoir about one woman’s spiritual journey as she searches for and finds the Energy of Divine Love that lives in all of us.  Through telling her own story of spiritual searching, Roslyn Farrington offers insight and inspiration to help others find their path to spiritual awakening.

In *All About Love*, feminist author bell hooks tells us that to overcome low self esteem we must “actively introduce into our lives constructive life-affirming thought patters and behaviors.”  Roslyn’s CD, *Affirmations with Roslyn*, offers call and response affirmations that help individuals
begin the process of changing their thought patterns leading to more joy, more peace and more love.

Roslyn Farrington is a spiritual guide, teacher and public intellectual. Spiritual practice, feminist education and social justice are the cornerstones of her work.  She has a master’s degree, teaches in the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program at Portland State University and offers her expertise as an organizational consultant.
