 We will be Giving away 4 day Passes and Featuring some of the 20+ artists that will be performing over the weekend with Bios, Music, and Interviews all blended seemlessly over the 2 hour program to allow you a taste of each of the artists providing the full spectrum of the festivals flavors...

   Sound Tribe Sector 9 is in my blood.  I've been seeing them for years out in Colorado.  Many magical nights were spent out at Red Rocks with this band.  They truly are a visionary evolved group of musicians and as an artist I draw great inspiration and strength from them.  Moving out here to Portland for the past couple of years it's been tougher to see them.  I have had the great chance to go to Horning's Hideout a few times and know the magic and goodness that that place holds.  It would be a dream to be able to see this band (and so many of the others) in this truly blessed place.
  But as an artist, my funds are very limited and some other amazing summer plans/shows were already in the works when this festival was announced.  Also as an artist, I was hoping to create some art for this event and spread it amongst the community there, keeping the flow of art and creation going, giving as well as receiving.
  You would be doing a great deed in giving me a ticket indeed.

STS9 and Bassnectar have been my two favorite groups for a really long time. I will never pass up a chance to see them. I would die if I got a free ticket. I really would like to hula hoop there at the show too!!! I am an LED hula hooper and this kind of music is my absolute favorite to hula hoop to.
If I get a free ticket I would sooo rock out all night on my LED hoops. I would be forever grateful to KBOO and the melting pot! I love the music on here!! I have been listening to the melting pot a lot more lately and I love all the new music I'm discovering! Please consider me for winning a ticket to Re:generation, seeing as I can't afford a ticket on my own... :(

Hey I really would love to win tickets to Re:Generation! I am a huge STS9 fan and would love to see Bassnectar. I am currently low on funds and cannot make it, and the volunteer list is already full :( I would do anything to go to this festival. I love STS9 and The Melting Pot. Please help me go!! Thank you.

Hello. A ticket to re:generation would be an amazing gift which I'd be very grateful to receive. It's been quite some time since I've had the opportunity to see STS9, and what better a venue than Horning's Hideout? Such splendor awaits. I'm also extremely interested in many of the other bands on the lineup -  Tycho's delicate, beautiful beats delighted my ears recently for the first time and I'd absolutely love the opportunity to see them live in this setting as well.
However, above all else, I think a ticket to this festival would finally get my rear in gear to become a KBOO member and give back to the station that is and has been such a staple to the Portland community. I could not receive such a gift and not share.

We are so lucky to have a festival like this just right outside of Portland! As a child, I went to Horning's Hideout to go fishing with my grandmother, but I have not been there since then. I have been to many shows and concerts before, but I have not yet been to a real music festival before. I have been told that Horning's Hideout is an awesome place to have it. I would be very grateful if I were to receive a ticket... I will be tuning in tomorrow night!

I am a teacher who works with 7th graders in the Portland Public School District. Needless to say that at the end of a long year I need to REGENERATE myself for the coming fall. I have been a huge STS9 fan for years, at one point during Phish 2.0, I actually found myself skipping Phish shows when Sound Tribe was playing at a venue near them. I am unable to attend this year due to finances and prior obligations which allow me only be able to attend one event at Horning's this summer. I got married there two years ago before String Summit and my wife and I would love to get back to Horinings to celebrate the start of summer with good friends in the most memorable place Lara and I have been to together!

As a college student I am extremely short on cash, and could really use the tickets to Re:Generation this year! Not only is the line up amazing and the location, but also the people going make this festival worth going. Many of my friends from my hometown are going down to Re:Generation and this will be one of my last chances to get to see them all before we all part ways. The tickets would be much appreciated, but to everyone else good luck! I hope to see you all there some way or another!

whats up J. I just moved to the beautiful city of portland from Knoxville, TN and need a re:gen ticket! I have been a long time follower of STS9 seeing as they are from my hometown of ATL, GA, but am extremely low on cash right now due to the moving costs. Out of all the festivals this summer this is THE ONE i want to be at. When i first moved here eskmo and beats antique were playing the wonder ballroom and i missed out on seeing eskmo whom is my favorite artist right now. his music is so inspiring to me and makes my creativity sky rocket i'm asking you to hook me up just so i can experience his music live! much much love to my new favorite radio station!

I too am a teacher and this festival conveniently falls at the end of another long, strenuous year, perfect time for regenerating.  I am a regular at Bob's lovely getaway so close to home, and am excited about a fresh type of gathering starring the sound tribe at this familiar and magical spot.

 Howdy all--

I'd love to have a pass...I've helped make underground electronica happen in PDX for 15 yrs AND ReGeneration is my OFFICIAL 40th bday campout...

Plus there's at least a dozen artists on the line up which I've given my unwavering love and support in one or more of these ways:

  • As a promoter I've brought to them to Portland myself and thrown shows
  • I've booked them in line-ups for other peoples shows
  • I've promoted multiple festivals with many of these folks in the lineups.
  • Been asked to promote specific shows by the artists themselves
  • Hooked up the artists with other gigs in PDX and other cities.

1st time I saw STS9 was a few years back when attending the NW String Summit @Hornings, and it was an EPIC show to say the least! I immediately started tonsownload and purchase everything I could get my hands on...I've seen them 4 times since, but not at Hornings. I would love to get to see them at this venue and sort of re-live that weekend. Especially since BASSNECTAR is one of my other favorites...too see them together almost makes my head spin thinking about it. I'm currently an UNEMPLOYED FATHER OF 2, and can't afford to go otherwise. Would be most greatful if you guys wanna help me out!!!

Hello! It's so exciting and fun to hear your voice on the radio: )  I am going be graduating from college this year, receiving my Masters in Education. After student teaching all year and working my buns off as a student I am ready to celebrate, relax, and get down to some beats with some beautiful people in a beautiful place.  My wonderful husband, Greg, and I got married at Hornings three years ago (this summer) and would love to have a chance to gather with our friends and make some new magical moments.
