The guest is Jennie Holmes of Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon. She'll talk about 10/10/10, the International Day of Climate Action. This day is the inspiration of 350—a global movement to stop global warming, founded by Bill McKibben, author, United Methodist Sunday school teacher and climate activist. Scientists have determined that 350ppm (parts per million) to be the safe level of excess CO2 in the atmosphere. Right now, we are at about 387 ppm and adding 2 ppm per year.
