Food Show on 12/16/09
Stay tuned for the December Food Show: EcoTrust's Deborah Kane will join us to discuss the non-profit's new FoodHub (food-hub.org), which connects institutional food buyers directly to local farmers. Then we'll chat with Newport attorney Michele Longo Eder about her book, Salt in Our Blood: The Memoir of a Fisherman's Wife. It’s a tribute to her late son, who died when his Dungeness crab boat overturned in Yaquina Bay. On a lighter note, we'll talk about how to handle those difficult, sometimes unwanted guests at your holiday table, featuring real life stories and tips from liberals who have to put up with their conservative family members.
