Oregon Abortion Rights
In Texas this week a grand jury cleared a Planned Parenthood clinic on charges it had sold aborted fetuses.
The panel also indicted two California anti-choice activists on charges of tampering with a governmental record.
That’s a second-degree felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
Meanwhile, Oregon Right to Life is working to place an initiative on the November ballot that would ban state funding for abortions.
The group last fall raised enough signatures to gain a ballot title for the measure.
KBOO News spoke today with Planned Parenthood of the Columbia Willamette’s President and CEO Stacy Cross about how the organization is responding.
