Public Housing Residents Stage Protest During Obama Visit to New Orleans

As President Obama made his first visit to New Orleans last Thursday, residents of public housing staged a protest.  They challenged the ongoing crisis in public housing in New Orleans, which they say was caused mainly by the selling off of undamaged housing projects to private developers in the four years following Hurricane Katrina.  KBOO’s Jenka Soderberg has more:
