Siren Nation is a celebration of women in the arts. Out Loud focuses on the queer talent as part of the Siren Nation festival. Tonight we hear live music from The I's, and Carla interviews Natlalia Kay, Executive Director of Siren Nation. Natalia shares some queer film suggestions showing as part of the S.N. Film Festival.

Carla also talks with Rory Bowman, who is working in Vancouver with the Approve Referendum 71 campaign in Washington state.

The Portland premiere of movie Straightlaced happening Wed Oct 28 @ 7 pm @ Cinema 21 in Portland. This movie premiere is a benefit for the Oregon Safe Schools and Communities Coalition.

A big shout out to Kendall Clawson, Executive Director from Portland's Q Center, for being with President Obama when he signed the Matthew Shephard & James Byrd Jr Hate Crimes Prevention Act.
