The Oregon Sierra Club, which promotes conservation of natural environments, is hosting a 1st annual shindig on Saturday 4-8 pm, including music and presentations about their work. For info, trail over to http://orsierraclub.wordpress.com/


The Robin Hood Festival, which has been held in Sherwood, Oregon annually since 1952, is this weekend. The festival is free to all, just the way that Robin Hood would want it to be. For details, point your arrow to www.robinhoodfestival.com

Sunday Parkways, presented by the City of Portland, strolls into Northesast this Sunday 9 am to 4 pm.Sunday Parkways are "temporary parks" along city streets connecting neighborhoods and residents. Select streets will be closed to cars and open for walking, cycling, and rolling.


The 7-mile Parkways this Sunday will showcase portions of the Vernon, Concordia, Cully, Alameda, Sabin, and Beaumont-Wilshire neighborhoods.



The City of Portland offers many free events in the summer, including
