Alexi Agathopleius talks about prison justice for solitary confinement inmates

KBOO's Jennifer Kemp interviewed Center for Constitutional Rights attorney Alexi Agathoplieus about their lawsuit advocating for prisoners in solitary confinement for California prisoners. Agathoplieus explains that prisoners can be confined in solitary confinement for extremely tenuous gang affiliation, as little as saying hello to a gang member, or owning a book about Black Power. He believes solitary confinement to be dehumanizing and constitutionally dubious.
