featuring shorts on the recent mural crackdown in Portland, people cycling against war, and the
downtown camping action pulled off this summer by Right2Survive. It starts at 8 pm at 3848 SE

Tomorrow morning, Saturday, you are cordially invited to the 8th annual  Peace and Justice Fair at
Esther Short Park  in Vancouver WA. Enjoy entertainment, information, exhibits, the adjacent
farmers market, and the opportunity to make connections. The park is located at 8th and Columbia
in Vancouver WA and the fair runs from 9 am to 4 pm.

Tomorrow in Portland, you’re invited to an all-day Disaster Preparedness, Mitigation, and
Response training. Topics will include Leadership and Influence, Working with Spontaneous
Volunteers, and Psychological First Aid, all with the goals of realizing the ease at which we can
create community and lend our diverse skill sets to those in need when it matters most
Registration starts at 730 AM and the training runs from 8 AM to 6 PM at New Hope Community
Church, located at 11731 SE Stevens Rd in Portland.

Tomorrow afternoon, the one and only Zenger Farm will host its first ever Harvest Festival.
The event will include fun and educational activities for families and is a
great way to celebrate food, farming and the changing seasons. The event is
free, but donations will be accepted and  there will be a small market with
Zenger Farm produce, honey and other goods. Bring your own picnic, or buy fabulous tamales from
Micromercantes .The party goes from 1 to 7 pm at the farm, which is located at 11741 SE Foster
Road in Portland.
