The coal industry is working during the holiday season to get more coal into Oregon.
It appears as if the coal industry is intent on giving the people of Oregon and Washington lumps of coal this holiday season – and they’re moving quickly to get it done under the radar.
For more on this story, KBOO’s Dan Johnson spoke with Laura Stevenson, an organizer with the Oregon branch of the Sierra club about the proposed influx of coal into the region.
